Upstairs Hall (dégagement du deuxième étage)

This hallway connects the two bedrooms, the bathroom and the salon.

Cette dégagement est liée avec l'escalier, les deux chambres, le salle de bain et le salon.

 

  

At the top of the stairs is a pleasant hallway. The double arch between the back bathroom and towards the salon is visible at the top. Below is a mosaic created when the new doorway was made and the tiling had to be repaired. The colours combine the main red tiles used throughout and the new tiles from the study floor.

The stairs look quite daunting from this angle. Note that there are wrought iron railings on both sides and there is also a handle at the doorway at the top. The stairs are well lit and it is not long before most people are able to run up and down easily and with confidence..

Escalier traditionel et raid avec mains courantes sur chaque côté. Bientôt on monte et descend très facilement. Mais - attention aux enfants!
